The Fremont Street Experience Development Team

The Fremont Street Experience is being designed by a world-class team of experts in their field, including the following:

Atlandia Design--Atlandia Design is a wholly owned subsidiary of Mirage Resorts, Inc. Based on its participation and involvement in all of the Mirage Resorts, Inc. development projects, Atlandia was hired by the Fremont Street Experience to be the owner's representative. In this role Atlandia has provided its expertise in design, construction, estimating, scheduling and other aspects of construction.

The Jerde Partnership--The Fremont Street casino area has been transformed into an urban theatrical experience--the Fremont Street Experience--by Jon Jerde of the architectural firm JPI/Nevada, Ltd. Recognized for its expertise in transforming the subjects of every design project into "communal spaces" that are retail innovative, Mr. Jerde's firm, the Jerde Partnership, Inc., has gained worldwide recognition for the conceptualization of the 1994 Olympics in Los Angeles and for its planning and design of the phenomenally successful Horton Plaza in San Diego, City Walk in Universal City, Calif., and Treasure Island in Las Vegas.

Marnell Corrao Associates--Marnell Corrao Associates, which has provided construction management services for the Fremont Street Experience, is nationally knows as a premier hotel-casino designer and contractor. The company has participated in the growth of downtown Las Vegas through the years, doing projects at many of the facilities, including the Golden Nugget, Sam Boyd's California Hotel & Casino and the Fremont Hotel and Casino, Lady Luck Casino & Hotel, Main Street Station and the Sundance Hotel & Casino (now known as Fitzgerald's Hotel & Casino).

Railton & Associates--Jeremy Railton and Associates have been a leading influence in defining the visual language of popular entertainment in the last decade. The team of art directors under three-time Emmy winner Jeremy Railton has contributed its talents to some of the most significant artists, events and productions of this era. Their work includes at least one major credit in almost every category of the entertainment media, including the opening and closing ceremonies of the 1984 Olympics, Disneyland, the Jack Nicholson film "The Two Jakes," Fox TV's "In Living Color," the 57th Annual Academy Awards, and the music video and tours of the most distinguished names in pop music. Railton & Associates has been responsible for designing the Holiday and New year's Eve Light and Sound Shows, as well as a yet unnamed show to premier in January 1996.

The Baer Animation Company, Inc.--The Baer Animation Company has created and produced numerous award-winning commercials and high- quality features since its incorporation in 1984. Specializing in classical animation and character design, Baer Animation Company is one of the few of its kind skilled in the seamless integration of live action with animation in the three-dimensional "Roger Rabbit" style. The company has worked with such leading studios as Amblin', Disney, Warner Bros. and Universal, with credits including key scenes from "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?", "Fletch Lives," and "The Lion King.~' The staff also has created award-winning commercials for Kellogg's, Pampers, Snapper Lawn Mowers, Charmin, EuroDisney, and Michelin Tires. Baer Animation has designed the Americana Light and Sound Show.

David Steinberg---David Steinberg founded Earshot Music Productions in the mid 1980s and is the Los Angeles-based company's driving force. Schooled in music and broadcast journalism, Steinberg has played drums and percussion around the world with a variety of ethnic musicians, cultivating a taste for exotic sounds and rhythms. Using the basic philosophy that "music has to tell a story," Steinberg and Earshot have provided advertising musical scores for companies including Nissan, Mazda, Toshiba, Mattel Toys and California Federal Bank. Earshot is equipped with the latest audio and music technologies and its studio is completely mobile, providing the ability to record scores requiring an orchestra as well as synthesizers. David Steinberg and Earshot Music Productions have composed and arranged the musical score for the Light and Sound Show.

Young Electric Sign Company (YESCO)---For more than 75 years, the name Young Electric Sign Company (or YESCO) has been synonymous with the bright lights and colorful neon of Las Vegas. Founded in 1920 in Ogden, Utah, YESCO originally produced hand-lettered window cards that later gave way to neon, as founder Thomas Young became one of the first to realize its potential. YESCO in 1945 created the first neon sign in Las Vegas for the Boulder Club. Soon, owners of the Golden Nugget, Horseshoe, Fremont, Mint, Silver Slipper and Stardust casinos clamored for even more spectacular neon displays. Through the years, YESCO creations have graced such Las Vegas resorts as the Sahara, Circus Circus, Riviera, Sands, Aladdin, Caesars Palace, Bally's, and, more recently, the Hard Rock. YESCO also created Vegas Vic, the venerable smiling cowboy symbol of Las Vegas who has stood guard over Fremont Street atop the Pioneer Club since 1951. YESCO has created the graphic display system which is the venue for the Fremont Street Experience Light and Sound Show.
