A Las Vegas landmark since 1954, the Castaways (formerly the Showboat) opened as a 100-room motel and casino. After millions of dollars were invested in expansions, the hotel now has 445 modern guest rooms, a 106-lane bowling center, an 80,000 square-foot casino, three restaurants, a showroom and Las Vegas' largest bingo parlor.

Both tower rooms and garden rooms are available. The rooms in the 19-story tower feature dark wood furniture and plush carpet, color coordinated in pleasing earth tones while the garden rooms, by the pool, are less luxurious but newly remodeled, clean and comfortable. Room rates run from $39 to $89 and packages are available for Golf, Bowling and Bingo. There is also an 84-space RV Park complete with full hook-up accommodations, guest house and laundry facilities. RV Space rent is $18.00.

There is convenient valet parking as well as free covered and surface parking. Meeting facilities can accommodate groups of 25 to 1,100 with full banquet and catering services.

Castaways's bright and spacious casino includes 1,500 high paying slot and video poker machines, 18 table games (including blackjack, craps, pai gow poker, roulette and Let it Ride) and Keno. Be sure to join the Club Castaways. There is also a Race & Sports book and the largest bingo parlor in town seating 750 people. The bingo parlor regular sessions are from 9:00am to 11:00pm with games starting every odd hour. Cards range in cost from $4 to $24.

The Castaways is home to America's largest championship bowling center with 106 lanes equipped with state-of-the-art Brunswick Framework. It is host to the most prestigious bowling tournaments in the country and is the oldest stop on the PBA tour. Offered are a variety of leagues, Mystic bowling, a full service pro shop, supervised day-care, lockers and a snack bar. The bowling center is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
